The Co-operative Group Promotes "Ethics in Action" Web Site
The Co-operative Group in the UK has launched a new web site that
promotes getting customers and members involved in activities that
The Co-operative supports. Visit
http://www.co-operative.coop/ethicsinaction for more information on
this innovative site.
The Co-operative Group in the UK announced the new Ethics in Action
section of The Co-operative Group's website, which launched on
Thursday, November 25th. The major new development is the creation
of a campaigning forum, Take Action, which will feature a new focus
for activity every month.

The aim of Ethics in Action is to bring to life the positive work
done by The Co-operative Group, with a more dynamic and exciting
feel than before. All of the Group's key community and
environmental programs are featured on the site.

The emphasis of Ethics in Action is on how customers and members
can get involved with The Co-operative, from creating a walking
bus, to pledging support for cruelty-free cleaning products. Links
are built in to direct potential customers to relevant areas of
Group and The Co-operative Financial Services sites; for example,
to sign-up for a charity credit card. Several short films have been
added to the site, and there are plans in place for further
developments, such as news pages and blog-style updates.

In order to avoid a "static" site, The Group will be refreshing
and updating the site regularly, with the aim that people will see
something new and interesting every time they return to the site,
and so keep coming back.

working to get members and customers involved!
