Coop Alsace, the primary retailer in the French region of Alsace - with 6 hypermarkets, 24 supermarkets, 84 local supermarkets, 97 shops and 9 discount supermarkets - is now using a .coop address (www.coop-alsace.coop). All public advertising and marketing is already referring to the .coop address and email addresses were switched to .coop after a transition process.

From their mission statement - "PastureLand is a small cooperative of family operated, organic grass-based dairy farms located in southeastern Minnesota, USA. Our cows graze on living pasture, and our farmers are dedicated to building the soil, grass varieties, and pasture ecosystems that nourish our animals providing dairy products rich in natural nutrients." And just last week (July 2005), Pastureland's Summer Gold salted butter was awarded first place in the prestigious annual American Cheese Society Competition for the second year in a row. Congratulations!

The BC Co-operative Association is a member supported, non-profit organization representing the co-op and credit union movement in British Columbia, Canada. BCCA promotes co-ops as powerful tools for community control over local economies, and as key strategies for economic and social reform. BCCA is a regional affiliate of the Canadian Co-operative Association with the mission to promote the growth and development of the co-operative sector in BC.
