New Registration Agreement for .Coop Registrants

Based on some updates to the .Coop agreement with ICANN, changes have been made to the standard .Coop Registration Agreement. These changes were announced on 6 September 2007 and therefore are effective on 6 October 2007. The new Registration Agreement is available at http://www.nic.coop/terms.asp. Although the changes made should not have any impact on your registrations, some registrants may prefer to confirm this independently.

Most changes were of a cosmetic nature and included updating contact email addresses. Changes in the ICANN agreement such as refinements to the .coop Charter of eligibility were also applied. Noone currently eligible would have been impacted by this change.

In most cases, .coop registrars reference this document in its entirety as part of their overall contracts and so this contract is relevant for any .coop registrant.
