Become a .coop registrar

If you’re interested in becoming a .coop registrar, here is a basic list of instructions on how to do so with links to the various forms and documents you'll need to read and complete along the way.

Step 1 - Apply

Step 2 - Acceptance

DotCoop will review your emailed Required Forms. If you are accepted for Certification Testing, you need to mail three (3) original, signed copies of the CND Agreement and one (1) copy of the Registrar Credit Information form to dotCoop. Once we receive those original agreements, we will send you access and support information for the .coop Registrar OT&E Certification process and will mail you a “fully executed” copy of the CND Agreement for your records.

Step 3 – Certification Testing

dotCoop will work with your staff closely to help you successfully complete the OT&E Certification process. When you have completed the process, you will need to update the .coop TLD Registrar Accreditation Agreement with your contact information and forward three (3) signed copies to dotCoop and add funds to your .coop Deposit Account as defined in your Credit Information Form.

Step 4 – Register .coop Domains!

Once dotCoop receives the signed .coop TLD RAA and the funds are added to your Deposit Account, you will be provided with login information to the .coop TLD production servers and the .coop Registrar Area where you can access your online Registrar statement of account and other materials to support your .coop marketing efforts.
